Sevilla is easily one the my favorite places in Spain and I can guarantee you I am not the only one that thinks so, once you have wandered the cobbled streets of this quaint city you will be forever changed. Sevilla is the heart of Andalusia, the southern part of Spain and encompasses the very definition of a Spanish town. Close your eyes, let your senses explore what a Spanish town is. The scent of cured ham and orange invading your nostrils , the ‘clap clap clap’ of the synchronized beat of flamenco shoes, the fiesta of your taste buds experiencing the combination of sweet and salty and the warmth of the sun glistening on your body from head to toe. Sevilla is a city to lose yourself in, give in the hypnotizing atmosphere and let your senses be free.
Plaza de España
I promise you that you will spend hours in this plaza, it is unlike any other Plaza de España. It is a photographers dream, an architectures dream, a people watchers dream. It is everything.
Giralda
The Giralda is the bell tower of the Sevilla Cathedral, it happens to be the tallest building in Sevilla. Originally built-in 1195 as a minaret (which is a slender tower that is a part of a Mosque), today is serves as the bell tower in the cathedral. At the very top of the tower is a weather vane statue that is represents faith called El Giraldillo, that turns according to the weather, the word “girar” means to turn; hence the name of this bell tower. You can climb to the top of the bell tower to hover over the beautiful city.
Cathedral de Sevilla
Alcazar de Sevilla
If you are a fan of Game of Throne then the Alcazar is the perfect place to let your sword fighting fantasies escape, in fact Water Gardens of Dorne were filmed in Sevilla; so it basically stepping into the show. If not a fan of the TV show, you will still be memorized by the detail and attention. ((sorry but not sorry for the amount of pictures that were taken))
Wander through the streets of Sevilla and soon enough you’ll find yourself falling in love with the Spanish essence of Andalusia
Until next time Sevilla

Wow, thank you for your kind words, I am so flattered! Sevilla is easily one of the best cities in Spain. I went in October and the weather could not have been more perfect, I am sure any time of the year is fabulous though I have heard that the summer months can be scorching hot.
